1.How do I make a reservation?
You can choose one of the following ways as you prefer:
Book on line (through web). Please find the hotel and the room you want then click Ħħbook itĦħ, After submitting your information, your reservation will be accepted au tomatically.
Book by email: Please send email with guests' information and your requirements to hotels@bookchinahotel.com
Book by phone: Please feel free to call us at 0086-20-37251788 to get one of us to help you with your reservation.
Book by fax: Please send fax with guests' information and requirements to 0086-20-87743079

2.What are important tips when getting/submitting information through the net?
Most information on the web is provided by the hotel. If you find that the hotel/room information is vague or incomplete, please email us or call us to get more specific information.
Make sure that you have given us your correct contact information. (like phone number, fax, email), so that we can reach you in any case!
When making a reservation for someone else, please make sure to provide us with the name of the person who will check in at the hotel.

3.How do I know the hotel/room is available or not?
We will make the reservation according to your requests as soon as we receive the booking from you. Generally, we will inform you the reservation status within 24 hours through E-mail, Tel, or Fax. If the hotel/room you prefer is unavailable, we would like to provide you with several options and try our best to help you get another satisfactory one.

4.Can I book a hotel that is not shown on your web?
Of course you can. The hotels on the web are selected ones according to different standards, and some hotels are not shown because we are updating the information. So please send email/fax to us or phone us to book the hotel you need in case you can not find it on our web.

5.Is the room rate for per room or per person?
Generally, room rate is based on double occupancies per room per night. Extra bed charges extra if you need to arrange it.

6.Does the price include taxes and breakfast?
Basically, the rate is inclusive of all service charges and taxes. About the breakfast, we will display on the web whether it is included or not. It depends on the hotels and room types.

7.Does the price change very often?
Generally, the price on the web is the exact lowest price we can offer. The price may change during exhibition time or festivals, even weekends. We will update the new price on the web as soon as we get it. And we will inform you immediately if the actual price is not what you mentioned in your request email.

8.How long in advance I should make the reservation?
We advise you to make your reservation 2~3 weeks in advance during normal time. During peak seasons, please make the reservation at least 1 month ahead in case there is no room available, also there may need some time for the guarantee or prepayment. Since the room rate changes constantly, reservations made too far in advance may not be confirmed.

Payment
9.Should I pay the room charge to you or to the hotel?
Generally, you pay the total charge at the hotel reception either by credit card or in cash when you check out. If you are informed by email to pay the room charge to us, it means the hotel will only confirm prepaid reservations. In this case, we will ask for your prepayment and deliver it within the hotel' s stipulated time, so that we can give you the final confirmation.

10.How to make prepay to you?
We accept the prepayment by following ways:
Pay on line by credit card, it is fast and safe (Visa only at present)
Pay by bank transfer (through HSBC)
We will inform you the details through email.

11.Is my credit card information safe when I use it for payment or guarantee?
It is absolutely safe. In order to ensure the security and confidentiality of your credit card information, we will send you a credit card information fax form for you to fill, then you fax it back. We will inform you as soon as we receive the form. We promise that we will not reveal the information any third party at any time.

Confirmation/Modification/Cancellation
12.How soon I can get the confirmation after you receive my reservation?
The confirmation period differs among hotels. We will try to finish the reservation and send you the final confirmation within 24 hours if everything going smoothly. If there is anything special we need to inform you or ask for your guarantee/prepay we will also let you know within 24 hours after we receive your requirement.

13. Do I need to double check my reservation with the hotel after I receive our confirmation?
The answer is you don't have to do so. We are not only to save your time and money when you book through us, but also to avoid language obstacle and any other misunderstanding. We promise you the hotel confirmation from us by email or fax is valid. In the confirmation email, we will attach a voucher for your hotel check in purpose. There will be the hotel's phone number and address both in Chinese and English so you can reach the hotel more conveniently.

14. What if I want to change/cancel my reservation?
If you want to cancel or change your confirmed reservation, Please write your request email to: hotels@bookchinahotel.com or Fax to 0086-20-87743079. In case it is not convenient for you to internet access or fax machine at hand, Please call us at 0086-20-37251788 to change or cancel your reservation.

15. Can I cancel my reservation if I have already guaranteed the booking by my credit card information/by prepayment and received a confirmation?
The cancellation policies of the guaranteed reservation differ among hotels and generally the reservation cannot be cancelled or amended. If you fail to check in on time, a penalty may be charged from your credit card account (amount depends on individual hotel policy). Yet, we will declare all the helpful details in our confirmation email. We may either give you a deadline for the amendment/cancellation or tell you the hotel's specific policy to save some avoidable expense for you.
